Research
Plant geography is my specialty, and southern Arizona is my lab. In the winter I work in the arid lands of SW Arizona, especially on the Goldwater Range. In the summer I work in the Sky Islands, mapping vegetation of the Coronado National Forest.
Teaching
I teach Plants of the Desert, ECOL 414/514, during the second summer session.
